Dr. Golan has been part of HMRI's colorectal research team since 2020. As a physician dedicated to providing excellent patient care, her research has focused on improving patient outcomes and satisfaction in order to help her patients recover faster and experience less pain. Juliane is also committed teaching the next generation of surgeons. She serves as a voluntary faculty member of the Huntington Hospital General Surgery Residency Program, in addition to mentoring surgical residents in colon and rectal research. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, where she graduated with High Honors. She completed her general surgery residency at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California, and then completed a fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
