POSITION: Courier
LOCATION: Pasadena, CA
SALARY & HOURS: $9 an hour, 30 hours a week, plus fringe benefits
DUTIES: Deliver interoffice mail between several locations in Pasadena. Delivery and pick-up of supplies and materials in the Los Angeles area. Help move furniture and boxes as required. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Perform light clean-up of properties daily. Must have own car, will be reimbursed for mileage.

POSITION: Microfabrication Engineer
LOCATION: Pasadena, CA; and Los Angeles, CA
SALARY & HOURS: $65,000 per year; 40 hrs./wk., M-F 8:30a.m.-5:30p.m.
DUTIES: Perform entire silicon wafer processing of biomedical devices in semiconductor cleanroom environment for implantation into the brain and spinal cord. Develop and refine existing wafer-level procedures for reactive ion etching and deep-reactive ion etching systems. Design and fabricate bio-implantable and bio-degradable polymer neural probes for drug delivery into the brain and spinal cord. Analyze systems using finite element method. Train junior engineers to use semiconductor cleanrooms.
REQUIRES: Master’s or equivalent foreign degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent including research in micro and nano fabrication technologies to enable fabrication of 2D and 3D implantable biomedical devices.
