Specimen Requirements All testing must be arranged before sending specimens by calling Dr. Faye Eggerding at (626) 795-4343. Each sample must be accompanied by a completed test requisition form and be labeled with the patient's name, specimen type, and age of specimen collection. Blood or bone marrow samples should be collected in an EDTA (lavender top) tube and delivered overnight. Tissue may be sent fresh on ice or snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen and delivered overnight on dry ice. |
